What Causes White Particles In Urine?

hi, lately I ve noticed that I urinate a lot, this is normal I think because I drink lots of water, but I also noticed that my urine is white in color and with tiny particles in it, anyhow I don t feel any pain or whatsoever. Before I have UTI but after medications I went well, only these particles bothered. What could this be and if it is normal?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

These symptoms are suggestive of urine infection which can be caused by yeast or bacteria.

If there is no pain during urination, fever, and changes in urination frequency then you don’t need to worry. Sometimes it just passes on its own, you just need to drink plenty of fluids and take raspberry tea or juice to promote urination.

If this persists or symptoms occur then you need to do urine analysis and urine culture and after that antibiotic treatment may be started, if necessary.
Less common causes are urinary stones or glomerulonephritis, but this should not be considered at this point.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein
