What Causes White Clot Discharge During 8 Weeks Pregnancy?

OK, I am 8 weeks pregnant. Last night I was using the bathroom and this white clot fell out of me. It was about the size of a gold dollar. Do you have any idea what that was? Did I miscarry? I don't really feel any different this morning and I did not have any blood down there. I would just like to know what it was and why it happened...

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
Your concerns are valid. White discharge is common in pregnancy due to increased blood supply to the uterus and vagina.
Hormonal change also increase chance of fungal infection in pregnancy.
if you have not bled and don't have pain abdomen then the probability that you had a miscarriage is low.
However I would recommend an ultrasound scan if you didn't have one earlier to check whether baby heart activity is seen.Thanks.
Dr Bhagyashree.
