What Causes Wheezing In An Infant Post Treatment For Pneumonia?

My 10 month old was recently diagnosed with pnuemonia. The pediatrician prescribed her amoxycilin and azythromycin. Now she already finished her azythromycin and is now only taking the amoxycilin in which she is almost done with this one as well. My big concern is the fact that she is wheezing now and I would like to know why? Will it go away? Or do I need to take her to the hospitalimmediately?

hello
Yes child should be checked up for any complication, watch respiratory rate ,if above 40-50 then chance for broncho-pneumonia which should be ruled out.Cortisone may be needed so take him to pediatric emergency to be safe
best wishes
