There are days, including today that I hear noises and music more high pitched than usual and starting a week ago i occasionally get this weird sensation in my left ear where voices almost sound robotic and in a really high pitch, however after sleep it usually disappears. I am curious as to what it could be?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of weird sensation in ear which could be due to blockage of sinuses, sinusitis, ear wax and ear infection as well. It could be due to TMJ dislocation, Misalignment of teeth, Stress and anxiety, Arthritis, Problem related to disc present in TMJ as well. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon first for proper evaluation of TMJ. Oral surgeon may refer you to orthodontist for proper alignment of teeth. Doctor may order CT scan and MRI for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant and prescribe medicine to reduce stress , give night guard and anxiety. If the problem is not related to TMJ the consult ENT specialist again to check for problem like sinusitis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
