What Causes Weird Feeling After Smoking?

hi, I use to smoke alot of cannabis. I started around 16 and loved getting high. I had no problems getting good grades. I somked for about a year and a half and then all of a sudden I started getting real paranoid. So i quit for about a year. Now even if i take a small hit i start getting really paranoid. I start thinking about all sorts of things like failing or if my friends are trustworthy...just really weird things. Can you tell me why, i use to love smoking but now i cant get pass the paranoia.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Cannabis is likely to cause paranoia or psychosis in those predisposed to it. The history and symptoms you have described suggest you should stay away from it totally. In my opinion meet a psychiatrist in your area who can suggest medications and help you quit marijuana.
