Hi. I recently spoke to my new family doctor again about my concerns for weight loss. The weight loss began over a year ago however because I have been on methadone which I went of after Hep C treatment 4 and a half years ago I have been labelled. I have been experiencing light headedness, I have seizure type symptoms like dizziness then legs start to convulse, I got light headed and and woke up on the floor. At first I ate like a horse however now I am experiencing loss of appetite as well, I am drinking ensure but my weight keeps dropping, I look anorexic. I was sent for blood work, my tsh level was 0.67, I asked for a complete liver work up but only basic was ordered as I was concerned that there might be problems with my liver after interferon almost 5 years ago. My vision has dramticaly gotten worse since my last appointment two years ago, the eye doctor was quite concerned. I am loosing a lot of hair, dry skin as well....What should I do as I have repeatedly tried to contact my doctor to no avail, she has not examined me since our first visit a year ago...
