What Causes Weight Gain While On Thyronorm And Topaz?
Hi, I m taking orlean 60, metafort 500 and topaz 50 along with thyronorm 50mcg as prescribed by my doctor since last 4-5 years to cure obesity. Now that i have realised that if I stop taking these medecines I start gaining weight and if I continue with them my weight remains stable but it does not not go down to a certain level of weight loss. I m àfraid and confused at this point now after spending so much money now should I continue with these medicines and how long and are they safe.

Orlistat is the only drug licenced for weight loss. Thyronorm and metformin are not indicated for weight loss. We also need to stop any drug if does not cause any weight loss in forts few months.
Infact weight loss is tricky and hard. The main principle is still dieting and exercise. I would suggest you should seek help of a dietician for this.
