My 21-yr old niece is having a problem. Yesterday she was very weak & had horrible stomach pain. Went to Urgent Care, they tested her blood & urine. Nothing. Then they X-rayed her abdomen & said her intestines are full of fecal matter. She has NOT been constipated & has been having regular bowel movements, including this morning. They gave her a rectal suppository & told her to drink a cup of tea called Smooth Move (or something like that). She drank 2 cups about 11am today but has had no bowel movement. Now the pain has moved to her lower back. We don t understand how she can have an intestine full of poop when she s been having regular bowel movements! She s in excellent shape & health, works out daily, & eats VERY healthy. Any ideas what could be wrong & why? And what can she do to help move her bowels & make the pain subside? Thank you.
