What Causes Vomiting Up Of Blood And Green Stool?

Hello in the last year in lost 67 lbs.. I m now at 134lbs don t no why!! 6 months ago I was rushed to hospital throwing up blood alot . I had scope done doc said I have 7 aulcers n that s were blood came from. I only take prilosec . For 2 weeks now if I eat it runs right thru me and it s green and green liquids should I be concerned about my green stool and liquid?? Thanks for your time

Hi,

Yes, it is due to ulcerations in the stomach.

However, green stools can be due to rapid emptying as in diarrheas. It can be from foods as well containing pigments, iron etc.

However, inflammatory bowel disease can also cause. You need to visit an emergency room for evaluation.

You may be required to do stool tests, endoscopy and accordingly, you would be treated.
