What Causes Vomiting In An Infant?

11month old woke up vomiting since 6am she has vomit 3 times white and some food she ate last night. No fever, seems in pain at times she is not active as usual sleeping more then normal. Not wanting to eat or drink. She if bottle fed. Dad gave her some corn he bought from a street vendor. Dinner she had chicken and squash and rice. Husband cooked dinner this time when I got home from work I noticed the rice was not raw but under cooked some soft and some crunchy rice. He said he noticed so he gave her 2 table spoons at the most. And also he gave her to taste 3 tablespoons of icecream. She had already tried all that food before no allergies. Dr said might be a bug, my question is could it have been the rice? Or the corn since corn had cheese mayo and other stuff they put to sell. Or the icecream do to the milk? Thanks! Hoping it will be the rice and it pass in the next 24hrs

Hello Dear
I evaluated your query in depth .
@ Gastric infection is the obvious reason which may be following any of the
stuffs mentioned above .
@ Recommend for her strongly
# give liquids in sessions preferably boiled water, rice water, lemon juice,
home made juices , butter milk to maintain proper hydration
# soft light diet ( cooked thoroughly ) in small amounts at intervals
# avoid all spicy / non vegetarian stuffs / oily / junk foods / commerical
preparations as pastry , ice cream , cookies at present
# check she does not keep toys like stuffs inside her mouth which
aggravate her chances of another infection
# take care of hygiene of the baby
# for further episodes of vomiting syrup ondancetron would be of help
# watch for her skin turgor , urine output , playfulness , fever if anything
unusual immediately rush to ER
