General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Advent Forte syrup 457 mg is an antibiotic containing amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Its use might make the child's tummy upset, especially if it is given in an empty stomach.

In your child's case, vomiting might have been triggered by the syrup, but we should also consider possible stomach bug following a throat infection.

To me, should get him checked again by his pediatrician as might need changes in current therapy if he keeps vomiting.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
