What Causes Vomiting And Pain In The Left Arm?

My husband is 50 years old and started vomiting on Saturday evening. He said it felt as if something was stuck in his chest and then he vomited. He also is having pain/discomfort in his left arm. I am worried whatever is wrong may be heart related. Should I be concerned? FYI - His father died at the age of 53 of a massive heart attack. He also hasn t felt good and is very tired since this occurred on Saturday.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,

first of all please don't be panic. his symptoms may be related to gastritis or gastroesophageal reflux also. but at the same time, as his father died of heart attack, I would like to suggest you to meet any local physician and get an ECG. Then depending on the ecg findings we can proceed for further management.

thanking you
