Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Can you mention his present weight and height? Is he active and playful otherwise? What is the colour and consistency of stools, like any blood or mucus there? Any associated fever or abdominal pain?

Recurrent episodes of loose stools can suggest recurrent gastroenteritis from food or water contamination. Very rarely, this can suggest an inflammatory bowel disease also. Kindly get back with details, or consult a pediatric gastroenterologist

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
