General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your brother fell last night, he has laceration on the scalp. He is suffering from persistent headache and is also vomiting. He is conscious. Since your brother is having persistent headache and is vomiting, internal trauma or bleeding can be suspected. You are suggested to get your brother checked in the ER or by a GP.

If required he will be given stitches, get the laceration on his scalp cleaned and antiseptic dressing done. His treating GP will order for tests (blood tests, etc.) and investigations to be done like X-ray, CT, MRI, to study in detail the pathology causing him symptoms. Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made and the severity of the symptoms detected.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
