What Causes Vision Problems After Ablation Surgery?

Hi Dr., why after ablation surgery on last Thursday, my friend still had vision problem and not going away but only slight improvement. It is like seeing through wet glass and split vision too. He has MS but via MRI, there is no clot. What cause this vision problem? Could the neurologist in the hospital is wrong and it is related to MS episode that happened during surgery? What trigger it? When could the vision issues be gone? Thanks.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that your friend has undergone laser surgery for correction of refractive error.
The presence of blurred vision following surgery can be because of dry eyes or inflammation caused by surgery ...
This can be treated with appropriate treatment.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
