What Causes Vision Loss And Lightheadedness After An Injury?

I suffered an injury on my eyebrow area of my head in November. I had a bad black eye so my doctor sent me to an ophthalmologist who said an MRI wasn t necessary. I still suffer sensitivity where the injury was located and today I had an inexplicable episode of vision loss and became very lightheaded...I did not actually faint. Should I consider an MRI? Thanks, Sue

Hi dear
Yes, MRI should be done plus check your blood sugar and blood pressure too. Is this is episodic or occurred only once?

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
