What Causes Visible Breast Tissue After Weight Loss?

Hi, I am 46 and lost 20 pounds from stress. Had large breasts (d) since lost weight I see and feel breast tissue on each breasts. Left outer side of breast visible looking at it and feeling it, seems way bigger then other side. Doesn t hurt, not sore I have so much breast tissue confusing. I know this stands out. Is it just visible because I went from 140 to 120? It moves when I move it round the size of 3 quarters. I don t smoke, eat healthy now that not stressed. I work out so have energy. Noticed it 3 months ago. Should I worry or is it breast tissue always there.?

Hello,
Some amount of breast tissue is a natural presentation in a normal female. As the fat in the breast is not decreased owing to interspersed structure with the lobules, breast tissue does not usually shrink with general weight loss. This is why you are able to feel the tissue conspicuously since you are probably feeling loss of fat and muscle in the surroundings. If you feel any lumps, nipple discharge, enlarged lymph nodes in the axilla along with a family history, you need to get further evaluation, a mammogram etc. Hope this helps.
