What Causes Vaginal Spotting While Suffering From Amenorrhea?

Okay so I had lost my period at 19 years old and had it only twice throughout the years until now. I turned 30 on Sept 5th 2017 and now am having a super light on and off period for the past 3 days. I ve had doctors tell me that I had a thyroid issue that is messing with my pituitary gland for my hormones (which was false) another doctor told me that I had untreated gov (which also was false) and another doctor told me that I went through menopause (which in fact also was false lol). The last doctor that I am currently comfortable with has given me every test from a simple pap to an intro ultrasound and sonogram with blood work and told me to ignore whatever I was told and that I m still in good health, did not go through menopause and have no thyroid issue and that I still ovulate but the only reason that I have not dropped a period in so long is because my fallopian tubes are narrow. Has anyone ever heard of any of these things that could be a web of madness that points to one thing? My late boyfriend (May he rest in peace) and I were together almost 8 years and never had one scare, but my current boyfriend and I are now practicing sullabacy after my current doctor said we could still conceive a child but I m at high risk for an ectopic pregnancy.....

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my surgical experience, I would recommend you to go for IVF that is In vitro fertilisation of getting baby for eliminating the risk of ectopic pregnancy via narrow fallopian tubes.

So far as vaginal spotting is concerned it is physiologic hormone changes, nothing pathologic.

Wish you fine recovery and health.

Regards.
