What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Stopping Duphaston?

Hi Doctor!!.I am 34 years old snd raking to ttc after having miscarriage two months back.Gync prescribed duphaston from 16 th of lmp.Negative hcg test after one month of lmp.Have got light bleeding or spotting after 5 days of stopping duphaston.When should I plan again ??

Hi I think you should take a break of 2 to 3 months after abortion. After that you can plan for pregnancy. You can be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. It will increase chance of pregnancy. If your periods are irregular, you can get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. You may go for ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving if you don't conceive in next 6 months. Hope it helps.
