What Causes Vaginal Discomfort Post Usage Of A Detox Soap?

I have been using a detox soap with mint and ginger. It is mild. I have gastritis and I am sensitive to soaps, shampoos and hair coloring with ammonia. I don't know if that's normal. But when I was my vagina with the soap I feel like I did when I had bacterial vaginosa. Last time I washed with it I took alot of probiotics. The next day I felt fine. I washed with baby soap after each time I went to the bathroom.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions. The genital tissue is very sensitive as compared to the skin elsewhere. So, strong soap solution should not be used to clean the genital region. This irritates the tissue. Always use mild antiseptic solution/lukewarm water for cleaning. Please see your health care provider for further support. Take care.
