What Causes Vaginal Discomfort After An Abortion While On Medication?
I had an abortion 4 days ago and I was a little over 11 weeks pregnant. My doctors did not prescribe me antibiotics for after care but did give me antibiotics BEFORE performing the procedure. I currently am experiencing extreme vaginal discomfort with a moderate constant itch. What could this be.?

I understand your concern
It could be a vaginal infection/vaginitis or incomplete abortion.
I would suggest to undergo vaginal examination, vaginal swab test and USG scan to rule out the above causes.
Antibiotic course is require to cure infection
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V vaginal plus wash
Wear pure cotton loose inner.
Incomplete abortion require dose of misoprostol or D & C.
