General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The way to know if it was implantation bleeding is to have the blood test. BHCG increases enough in blood 11 days after conception which is 5 days after implantation. Thus having a BHCG blood test will be the fastest way to know if the bleeding is due to implantation or not.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
