Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I missed my last period and when I checked after 6 days the reports showed I am pregnant the doctor said I was 5 weeks into pregnancy .. at 6 weeks and 5 days it started bleeding it wasn t like a normal period very less blood was there the doctor did an ultra sound and said she can t see any pregnancy in the uterus but she can see some particles. Could it be that I am still pregnant ?
Hello dear I understand your concern Vaginal bleeding during the pregnancy could be due to the miscarriage. Also the USG suggests some part of the pregnancy, means miscarriage. So sorry to say that you are not pregnant. Remaining particle (depending upon size) can be removed by the misoprostol or D & C. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene, and take proper treatment to prevent the infection. Take rest, drink plenty of water, eat healthy diet. Hope this may help you
