General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Bleeding is a side effect of I pill as it contain high progesterone that produce hormonal imbalance and progesterone withdrawal bleeding.
So it is just breakthrough bleeding (endometrial tissue).
Breakthrough bleeding does not suggest pregnancy.
Your period may be delayed by 5-7 days or may be heavier.
If period will be delayed by 10-12 days from normal expected period date then confirm the pregnancy by urine pregnancy test. (as 5 percent failure rate)
Hope this may help you
