General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern. Your symptoms could be due to mechanical trauma due to rough sex, vaginal infection, cervicitis, cervix/endometrial dysplasia, polyp. If it will occur in future then consult gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, vaginal swab test, USG scan, PAP smear to confirm cause.

Specific treatment depend on cause. Take warm water sitz bath with added betadine for faster healing of trauma. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene before and after sex and use v vaginal plus wash. Infection require Clingen and lactobacillus suppository. Avoid rough sex and use K-y water based lubrication.

Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.

Best regards,
Dr. Sagar
