I had unprotected sex on 19 th and I had periods on 14th. So had taken an ipill on 20 th. Again had unprotected sex on 25 th and 26th and had post coital bleeding and I m having bleeding. So should I take an other pill as it will be my 11th N 12 th day?? Will I get pregnant?? I m having bleeding also.
I can understand your concern. If you want to prevent pregnancy, you need to take contraceptive measures before sexual intercourse or within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse by taking an I pill.
I assume that you have not taken any contraceptive measures during the sexual intercourse of 25th & 26th. If your periods are expected on 14th of the month, then 25th & 26th are the days you might be ovulating and so chances of pregnancy stay high, too.
I would advise you to take a home pregnancy test as there are chances that you might be pregnant. If it comes positive, you can consult a gynecologist to discuss further options.
I would also like to note here that I pill is just for accidents and emergencies. Making it a routine contraceptive method is not advisable as it has severe side effects. Rather, you should switch to other conventional methods like condoms, birth control pills or IUD.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
