What Causes Vaginal Bacterial Infection Inspite Of Using Flagyl And Clindamycin?

Hello. I ve had a bacterial infection for about a month now. I have been to the gynecologist and received antibiotics. First Flagyl for 7 days. Then during the follow up my infection still had not improved, so I was given Flagyl for another 5 days along with a one day pill for yeast. I returned yet again and the infection had improved but was still present so I was prescribed clindamyin for 10 days along with 3 one day yeast pills. There s still itching and some discharge. I was tested for STDs and the test came back negative. I haven t had intercourse either. Is there anything over the counter I can try. I don t have insurance, all these gynecologist visits have been out of pocket.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the oral treatment is fails to work then it is better to try some local application treatment and best would be "Miconazole cream" apply this three times in day along with this it is better to use "Povidone Iodine" vaginal suppository, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
