What Causes Upset Stomach And Lethargy?

Hi I used to be very active but for about 6 months now I am always tired and have absolutely no energy to do anything. Also I feel out of it all the time like dozed off and unaware of things. And I also get an upset stomach a lot....almost every time after I eat.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read the history and understood your concerns.
The history of upset of stomach every time you eat is suggestive of an intestinal problem.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Tests of stool for three consecutive days.
Tests of blood for thyroid, liver functions and the routine.
Preliminary ultrasound followed by contrast enhanced CT scan of the whole abdomen.
Upper GI endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
Clinical evaluation by a Gastroenterologist who will also correlate the findings to come to a diagnosis and give you a plan of management.
If all the investigations are normal you may be taken as a case of IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome and treated accordingly.
I find this answer helpful
