What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain After Intercourse Post C Section?

Hello. I have a somewhat embarassing question. I had a c section 2 months ago. Healed nicely. My husband and I had sex this afternoon, pretty rough. Didn t hurt during. Now I m having upper abdominal pain. Feels like a constant tight cramp. Is this anything dangerous?

Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case but can give some general information. The c sections would be healed by 6 weeks. The entire area is pretty altered by childbirth especially the first birth.

It takes time for things to re adjust and discomfort is pretty common. Getting into things a bit gradually is the general rule and it gets better in a few weeks.

More often and less duration and less vigour and building up gradually.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
