What Causes Unusual Smell In Mouth With History Of Undergoing Root Canal Surgery?
I smell metal through my nose randomly. Sometimes it smells like copper. I m worried about it. I ve had 5 root canals over the past two years and surgery on my entire mouth as a child. The surgery I had as a kid was getting caps put on all my teeth. This has been going on for years. I do not know of any tumors. I don t get sinus infections a lot or headaches. The only health issue I know of is I have low iron which I take medication for. Any idea what this could be? Is it anything to be concerned about?
Read your query as you have unusal smell im mouth with history of root canal surgery there is nothing to be worried so much this can be due to improper oral hygiene , deposition of calculus in subgingival region on gums . For this I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon and go for scaling and root planing . Inmeantime do warm saline rinses . Use chlorhexidine mouthwash regularly . Maintain good oral hygiene .
Hope this will help you .
