What Causes Unexplained Bruises On Left Side Of Nose And Hip?
Over the past week i have had several bruises appear but i do not have any recollection of banging into anything. I had one on the left side of my nose (which i put down to knocky my glasses, although i cannot remeber that happening), then one appeared on my left hip - very dark and about 3 inches in diameter. a few days later i now have one on the inside lower part of my arm which is tender. the others have not been tender/painful at all.

If this type of patient comes to me ,I would ask
-are you taking any medicine like Aspirin-stop it for 5 days and review again
- advise blood test to rule out any hemorrhagic disorder for diagnosis
-if any disorder found ,would refer to hematologist,otherwise wait and watch
