What Causes Ulcerative Colitis After Applying Triamcinolone?
I have been applying Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% for my husband twice daily for about three weeks. I am sensitive to NSAIDS due to colitis. I am experiencing the beginning of a colitis flare. Is there any chance that the Triamcinolone may be related to this?

No, Triamcinolone will not cause flare-up of ulcerative colitis. Please be advised to follow up with your treating physician for initiation of appropriate management. You do not have to worry about coming in contact with triamcinolone.
