What Causes Twitching Of Eye,tinnitus And Headache?

My left eye has been twitching repeatly over the past month and today, all the sudden I heard what sounded like a helicopter in my ear. I know it sounds funny but that is the way it feels. My ear is now sore but not hurting. Just uncomfortable. I have also been experiencing severe headaches. Which is very unusual since I never get a headache. But, the headaches are not normal. I don t know how to explain it but I know that something is wrong. Can you help me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. Welcome to hcm.
Headache on one side, tinnitus on same side could be a form of migraine with autonomic features. It starts by throbbing type of headache which increases over a period and it is usually severe.
You can start by consulting ENT specialist for a through examination and audiological examination to confirm you dont have a local cause like acute otitis media which can mimic these features.
If local causes are ruled out and headache is not responding to medications, it is advisable to undergo MRI to look for other causes.

All the best
