What Causes Twitch Or Tingle Between Right Eye And Temple?

I keep having a tingling twitching sensation between my right eye and temple. Also I have had it down the center of my nose. I have tmj and at times my jaw is worse than others. Gets really tight a lot. Could it be related or some sort of nerve thing? I've also had a few sharp pains in the left side of my chest. I'm 40 yr old female. Non smoker. Don't drink either. Been battling sleep problems too. Any suggestions.

HI, thank you for sharing your concerns with HCM!

The common causes of eye twitching is stress, lack of sleep, caffeine, and some conditions related to the eye like dry eye, eyelids inflammation and refractory defects. If you have one of these try to avoid it. If you have problems related to the eyes consult an ophthalmologist to check your eyes out.

Best regards!
Dr Eriol.
