What Causes Twisting Sensation In Stomach After Every Meal?

Every time I eat my stomach feels like it s twisting at least 30 minutes to an hour later. It makes me feel like I have to have an urgent bowel movement but when I actually try to go it seems like I strain and only a little comes out and the relief doesn t last long. What is this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastritis. Taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole for 2 weeks will be helpful for this. Avoid fatty, spicy and junk foods. Carbonated drinks, alcohol and excess coffee should be avoided also. Take lukewarm water for drinking. A stool routine examination should be done to rule outparasitic infection.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
