General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Shakiness may happen with anxiety and stress. On the other hand, if you chronically use alcohol, this may be a contributor as well due to the liver and cerebellar (brain) damages it causes.

You may need to have a check with your doctor to rule out physical causes of the tremor and if anxiety is the cause you will need treatment with SSRI drugs.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
