Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

As per your query tooth ache after removal of wisdom tooth is very normal. Swelling and pain occurs for 3-5 days at least. If its taking around 10 days and more its because of improper healing in that area. As you having pain in right side probable chances are more force is applied in that area while extracting teeth or it could be possible due to wrong choice of instruments, as while extracting teeth pressure has been applied to surrounding teeth as well.

I would suggest you to apply ice pack in that area constantly. Take Tylenol and antibiotics such as ibuprofen for faster recovery. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis.

If your symptoms keeps on persisting visit dentist once and get IOPA (X-RAY ) done as it could be the case of dry socket. Dressing is recommended in that case. Don't touch that area with tongue constantly. Maintain oral hygiene with very gentler brushing.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
