What Causes Tongue Pain Along With Rashes And Red Spots Inside And Corner Of Lips?
A few days ago I started experiencing discomfort and slight pain on my tongue on the bottom (web) and some areas of the top of my tongue. Last night I also noticed what almost looks like a rash on the inside of my bottom lip, it started feeling dry and then the next night there are dark red spots, especially on the corners of the lips. There is nothing else to report on the outside of the lips, just wondering what could be causing this
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain the symptoms appears like Apthous Stomatitis and there is inflammation of the mucosa present inside the mouth aong with inflammation or pain in tongue that can be Glossitis..
It can occur due to a number of reasons like Nutritional deficiency of iron, vitamin B12, stress, physical trauma, allergies to foods or medicines, hormonal imbalances, dry mouth etc..
You can gargle with numbing mouthwash, do soda bicarb gargle, take Vitamin B complex supplements, avoid hot and spicy foods and suck ice pops.. You can also gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
