What Causes Tiny Red Itchy Bumps On Vaginal Lips During Periods?

My vagina was pretty itchy. I scratched a couple times and freaked out so went to wash myself like 4 times in the shower. I do have my period as well. I examined myself and saw red tiny but very tiny and not lumpy around my vagina lips. what can this be

Thanks for the query.
I understand your concern.
Those lesions could be small abrasions due to straching.
Sometimes allergy to the tampons material, retaining tampons for longer time etc can lead to itching.
Better to use sanitary pads and change them at every 6 to 8 hours interval.
If the itching persists even after these, better to go consult your doctor and get evaluated.
