What Causes Tinnitus While Suffering From Cold?

I ve had a cold for the past 5 days. Just sinus stuff though (no cough, no fever, no sore throat). for the past two days, I ve been experiencing non-stop ringing in my ears. I ve not experienced this with a cold in the past, but can it be attributed my sinus issues?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes in sinusitis and in ear inner infection tinnitus can occur. You are Having cold syndromes and need to be controlled. Levocetirizine OD for five days can be prescribed. Steam inhalation done three times a day. Salt water gargle done with warm water three times a day. Drink more water. Take one tsp turmeric powder with milk daily. If no improvement than PNS X-ray done and Otoscopy ear examination done.
