What Causes Tinnitus In The Left Ear?

I have an irritating throbbing in my left ear . Occasionly today it felt more than sounding like a butterfly swooshing around in the ear . My B/P was 150/101 and hung around that area until late this afternoon when it finally went down to normal but still experiencing this swooshing in my ear .

Noted the history and understood the concerns.
There are many causes of tinnitus and as per the history you have provided.
Fullness in the ear by otitis media by fluid inside the ear drum.
Viral infection and inflammation.
Impacted wax in ear.
Rise in blood pressure can cause Tinnitus.
Acoustic injury and direct trauma.
There no specific symptomatic treatment but treatment of the cause after clinical examination by an ENT Surgeon can help to get the proper diagnosis and management.
