General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the tinnitus is natural physiologic response to height attendance in flight.

* It takes around a period of 1-2 hours to get back to normal previous stage physiology of the hearing system.

* As there was self maneuver to open the blocked hearing in terms of held nose and popping back, the excess pressure exerted over the sinuses, gave blood in spitting.

* If the bleed persists beyond a period of 2-3 hours, consult your ENT specialist immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
