Hi Dear

Understanding your concern. As per your query tingling sensations in the face and head area seems to be due to nerve impingement and pressure on facial nerve which can lead to facial paralysis and tingling sensation symptoms.

Need not to worry about it. Visit oral physician once and get it examined. Avoid opening mouth extreme wide while jawing. Avoid eating any hard substances and try on soft liquid diet. It will resolve its own. If it is not due to dental related cause visit neurologist once and get it examined. Doctor may prescribe MRI of brain as it could be related to stroke. Go for physical therapy of facial muscles. Take neurotropic medication such as methylcobalamin is effective to improve your symptoms.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
