What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Body After Using Creatine?
Hi. I started using Creatine a week a half ago to help my fitness training. After four days my whole body was tingling. Thinking this was not normal I stopped using straight away. A week later I still have constant tingling and numbness in my arms, hands and sometimes feet. Is this going to pass?
The abnormal sensations, the tingling, is likely neuropathy which is abnormal function of the nerves.
It can be temporary or permanent and there are different possible causes. It is possible that it maybe related to the creatine but the other causes are: (1) recent infection , even a recent viral infection can potentially affect the nerves
It would be best, if the symptoms continue, to see your doctor for an assessment which include symptoms and physical examination. Blood tests would also be needed
I hope this helps
