What Causes Tingling Sensation From The Arm To The Palm?

I have a strange tingling like electrical shock on my left arm radiating to me palm. It s worse when I put pressure on my elbow so I think it s nerve pain, but I m also waking up in the middle of the night with cramping in my feet (both sides). My chiropractor thinks it could be more serious than just nerve pressure or lower back problems. Just wondering what I should be paying attention to.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It looks like Peripheral Neuropathy developing but it can be indicative of some cardiac problem developing. If you are diabetic take medications prescribed so that your sugar levels are at a normal level. Diabetes worsens Neuropathy.

Visit ER, get all your Nerve Function & Lipid function tests done. In the meantime take vitamin B6, B12 with folic acid as a supplement.

Take fruits, veggies, food rich in calcium & minerals. Stay away from all kinds of addictions, stress/anxiety & take adequate sleep. Get evaluated & treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
