What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Hand Upon Waking Up?
For about the last month to 6weeks each morning about 20 minutes after I wake and get up my right arm and hand begins to tingle and feel numblike. This usually last about 15-30 minutes. Then very early this morning about 3am I woke with both arms tingling. I went back to sleep and this repeated later in my right arm hand when I actually got up for the day as it has for several weeks. Then this evening my right arm and hand began tingling again for about 15-20 minutes. Any ideas what is going on? Please and ThanknYou

Hello,
It could be due to Thoracic outlet syndrome due to cervical ribs bilaterally compressing blood vessels or nerves to the upper limb. Take X-ray cervical spine AP view.
