Hi,
1. As unable to examine you physically and also a meticulous history can't be taken thus following is my opinion:
-
Leg numbness is usually due to a lack of blood supply to an area or nerve damage and could result from either infection, inflammation, trauma, or any other abnormal processes
- Have a consultation with an Orthopedic surgeon since initially we have to differentiate whether they are cramps or claudications a and he may ask for investigations like:
- X-ray LS spine] for sciatica,
osteoarthritis,
disc prolapse, TB spine, osteoporosis]
- Have a consultation with a Medicine specialist to exclude high blood sugar [diabetes/ peripheral neuropathy]: [as A1c is rising], also calcium or salt deficiency, till then:
i. tablet
calcium pantothenate 50 mg: twice daily or Inj.
calcium gluconate 10 cc: slow intravenous daily for 3 days
ii. Tablet B complex: once daily
iii. Inj. Neurobion 2cc IM daily for 5-10 days
iv. If alcoholic, stop alcohol completely
v. If diabetic, control with plain insulin
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
