What Causes Tingling Sensation All Over Body Post Alcohol Consumption?

I had too much to drink on Friday night , it is now Monday and I feel completely wrong. I cannot concentrate I can t feel body parts, and I tingle all over. Last night I couldn t even talk and I was drooling uncontrollably This was only my second time drinking. Could I still be drunk? Or should I be worried that someone put something in my drink? My boyfriend thinks that I may have accidentally smoked a cigarette with weed in it, once I got second hand high and ended up having a seizure. I am 19 years old 120 pounds and female.

Small women have less liver metabolism. This includes alcohol. It is still very very unlikely that alcohol will be in the system. ON the other hand, anxiety often causes HYPERVENTILATION, which changes the blood acidity and changes how the nerves fire (tingling, especially tips of limbs and around mouth). This can even increase the likelihood of seizures. Changing the amount of carbon dioxide one has (Breathing into and out of a brown paper bag ) is the traditional way to increase the carbon dioxide amount in the body and stop the hyperventilation consequences.
