What Causes Tingling In Hands And Feet With Double Vision?

Our son is 43, he woke up last Thursday with severe tingling in hands and feet , double vision , and affected depth perception in eyesight... Going through a divorce so there is stress.. Went to ER ...small town... They found he has diabetis... Sent us 120 miles to larger hospital.. Spinal tap done... No meningitis.. Possibly West Nile but no lab back on that for a week, had a temp so put him on antibiotic and metformin... Is having a difficult time walking and not better... What should we do?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is not the major disease found besides the diabetes as long as his symptom are concern then it is nothing to worry and what the symptom he has are not due to diabetes, it must be then due to anxiety and depression, it is better to get done the MRI of brain if not done yet, if this is history of diabetes recently detected then MRI is mandatory hope this information helps.
