What Causes Tingling In Arm And Heart Palpitations?

Hi, My name is Maria. I m 40 yrs old. Since last night Ive been having rapid heart beat and a few minutes ago my left arm was tingly and felt my heart beat paid again. i had just came back from my power walk. I also have a tendency to drink 4 shot ice mochas. Is this something I should worry about?

Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of tingling and heart palpitations, I would come up with three possibilities, these include:
The first possibility is of heart rhythm disorders. Diagnosis can be confirmed by EEG. Try to avoid alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them, or eat chocolate or spicy or greasy foods. Follow Potassium,omega 3 enriched diet-banana,raisin,carrots,potato.
The second possibility is of Hyperthyroidism. TTH, T3,T4 should be measured to rule out it.
The last possibility is of Dehydration. For this purpose you need to keep yourself hydrated with plenty water during heat wave.
I suggest you to consult a physician and get examined.
